Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell this year at the end of July for family vacation. It was beautiful weather and the water was up about 20 ft from two years ago when we went. We had so much fun with Darren's family. Abby had fun playing in the water with her cousins and riding on the wave runners with daddy. She had some problems figuring out how to work the life jacket so she just held on to Daddy when it got to deep! Darren even convinced Abby to go off the house boat slide three times! Darren had a little to much fun on the wave runners and has a few big bruises to show for it! It was so nice to relax on the water!

4th of July

For the Fourth of July this year we had Darren's family come up to visit. On Friday we went boating at Ririe Res. Abby had so much fun going on the Wave Runners with her dad even if he did smack he head into the handlebars a couple of times. She learned to swim by herself with floaties while we were there. It was so much fun to watch her swim around. On The 4th we went to the park and then to the Idaho Falls Firework show . It was a great show and did not disappoint the Gonzales family! Abby had a lot of fun with the sparklers and watching the big fireworks. She covered her ears with my hands a couple of time when the fireworks got to loud! Trip to New Mexico

So I did manage to finally update my blog with my latest pictures! Abby and I had so much fun visiting my parents in New Mexico. We usually only go to visit like once a year but this year we were lucky enough to get to go twice! The first pictures are the ones we got taken for Darren for Fathers Day! It was fun to get our pictures taken together! Abby's cheeks are all red because it was like 100 degrees while we were getting them done! The rest are pictures of her swimming in the pool. She was swimming like 90% of the time down there so that is an accurate view of the trip! xoxo Lindz

We are having a ...girl !!!

We went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and found out that our little peanut is going to be another girl!! I was so excited! I now have less to prepare for since we have already gone down that road once before! I think Darren was secretly hoping for a boy but like we are trying to teach Abby.... You get what you get and you don't throw a fit!!! Anyway, we are so excited to get a new little member in our family. It become more and more real the more my somache grows and the baby kicks me!
In other news, Abby and I just got back from a two week vacation to New Mexico to see my parents for the summer!My sister Kristen went with her kids also so Abby had a couple of weeks to try to learn how to play with her cousins! I will get some pictures posted this week of our fun time in the sun! ( I am trying to update my blog more often! We will see how the summer goes!)

swing set

One of our neighbors gave us an old swing set that they used like 20 years ago with their kids. Abby loves to swing but we were to cheap to by her a new swing set. With a little bit of spray paint and some new swings we transformered this ugly little swing set into a cute updated swing set! Abby loves the swing set an has a fit everytime she has to go inside! ( don't look to close at the backyard. It isn't landscaped yet!)

St. George trip

Last weekend Darren and I went to St. George with my sister Courtney and her Husband Adam for Darrens Birthday. We were lucky enough to ditch Abby at Darrens Parents so we could enjoy a nice weekend getaway! It was so much fun to hang out and be a grown up! No trip down south would be complete without a trip to Beaver for Squeeky Cheese!!
We went out to eat in St. George at the Outback Steak House. The food was great but we had the worst server ever! Little did I know that almost everwhere we ate on our trip we would totally be ignored! I am thinking of moving to St. George to be a server consultant!!!!!

Abby loves to put on her little apron that her aunt Kristen made for her and "cook!" She usually just makes a bigger mess to clean up but it is fun to watch her interact. Abby loves to sweep which works out great when she is the one making the mess!She is a clean freak like her mom!
