The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point

While we were in Utah we decided to spent the day at the kids part of  The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was so neat and had a  lot of things for the kids to do including a climbing thing, racing boats, building, a hedge maze, a cave with tunnels to climb in, and a Noah's Ark splash park. The kids had so much fun! It was a great place to spend a sunny day with the girls! xoxo Lindz

Madison is a little climber and showed no fear climbing around on this toy.
Abby is a little more timid and cautious when climbing but still had fun.

Madison found a large tractor tire in the building park and decided to climb in.
Darren had a fun time roll the girls around inside the tire.

Aunt Court came along to play with Jordyn

The girls had so much fun in the splash park and didn't wan to leave.

Jordyn"s Baby Blessing

We decided to bless Jordyn while we were in Utah so that we could have are family and friends there. It was such a great blessing day and Darren did an awesome job giving our liitle one a great blessing. It is so amazing to feel the spirit and know that Heavenly Father sent this little one to our home for a purpose. I am so glad that Darren holds the priesthood and is able to give our girls this blessing! xoxo Lindz

Wave Running at Deer Creek Res. in Utah

We went on a little family vacation to Utah the end of July. We had so much fun including going Wave Running at Deer Creek Res. My sisters Courtney and Brooke came with us to help out with the girls. The weather was perfect and we had a blast! Madison and Abby had so much fun going on the wave runners and they learned that you hold on really tight when you ride with dad! Darren dumped Courtney off really good and I wish I had my camera with me. It was hilarious! Baby Jordyn pretty much slept under the canopy.I love making memories with the family. xoxo Lindz

Trip to Mt. Rainier

Mt.Rainier is an active volcano ( like Mt, St. Helen) that we can see from our house in Washington.During the summer you can drive almost to the top and check it out. On the way we past a really cool sculpture display that this guy does and puts out in a field. There were so many cool sculptures but I just posted some of my favorites. The girls had fun playing in the snow up towards the top of the mountain. I think they missed the snow this year. ( Darren has a bunch of pictures on his iPad and I was to lazy to get the pictures off of it!) This was such a nice day trip and I am sure we will do it again next year. xoxo Lindz

This guy had a bin for donations, republican, demacrat, or liberal
This was a huge horse. The details are amazing.

A Day at the Beach

The Ocean is only like a 2 hour drive from us so we decided to take a little day trip out to take the kids to the ocean for their first time. It was so much fun watching the girls explore the ocean and the sand. It was a little windy and cold but it didn't seem to  bother the girls. They played in the water and looked for seashells. The girls were freezing by the time we were ready to leave. I will be sure to plan better for the next time we go so they will not freeze to death!  It is so great that we are able to get to the ocean so quickly. That is not really the case when we lived in Idaho and Utah! xoxo Lindz

"Planting a Garden"

The kids had been watching  the show Wall-E  a lot and at the end the people learn how to plant a garden. Abby had been bugging me for weeks to help her "Plant a Garden." I kept explaining to her that we didn't have a place to plant a garden at our new house. She didn't give up on the idea. We decided to get a pot and plant flowers instead. Abby and Madison had fun picking out the flowers to go in the pot. The flowers added a little bit of cheer to our backyard and it was fun to watch the girls plan their first "garden." xoxo Lindz

Jordyn is One Month Old

Jordyn or Baby "J" as she is known at our  house turned one month old on July 9th! She is 7lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. She is such a joy to have in our home. She loves to sit in her bouncer chair and listen to the music. She also loves it when her big sister Abby sings her funny made up songs to her.Big sister Madison is getting more comfortable with Jordyn and sometime pets her head and says "good boy" like she does to  the dog! We are all in love with this sweet little girl! xoxo Lindz
