Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma

Today I took the girls to the Zoo in Tacoma, Washington. It was disabilities day for the zoo so we got in for free with Madisons speech group! The girls had a blast checking out all the animals! This is the first time that we have been to this zoo and I like it a lot better than the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. The sharks were really fun to look at. They are up close and personal! We also got to see Cute newborn baby leopards, the elephants, a scary looking tiger, monkeys, a walrus,  a polar bear, and many more fun little animals! I wish i wasn't sooooooo pregnant so I would have had the energy to stay longer!  I think that we will go back to this zoo for sure! (I took the pictures with my phone so they are not the best but I tried!) xoxo Lindz

Abby by the shark tank!
Abby trying to get a shark in our picture.
They had a bunch of sharks in the tank but I just couldn't get an awesome shot fast enough!

Madison was mesmerized by the sharks. ( I couldn't flip this picture b/c I am dumb!)
We had a great view of the elephants!
Abby liked the elephants so much that we came back to see them again before we left!
A nice mom took are picture for us!
 Abby checking out the tiger!
Abby was  scared when we  got close and wanted me to hurry so she could get down!
Madison just growled at the tiger!

Baby Jordyn's New Room

I had so much fun decorating the new babies room. I tried to use stuff i had already and incorporated some new items to make the design work. I wasn't sure I was going to like black and yellow since I am a pink girl but I love the way it turned out! I have five more weeks left so I am glad that I got this project finished so i can move to some other projects before the baby get here! xoxo Lindz
Cute chair that Darren Repainted and my mo re-covered.
 Cute wall by the window

We bought Styrofoam molding at Lowe's and used black Spray lacquer to paint it. Bought picture frames and ribbon at Joann's.
 Shelf I had already
Bought storage baskets and lined them with extra material.
 New dresser for baby.
I used a cardboard "J" and painted it yellow. I modged podged scrapbook paper on it for design.
Vinyl Chandelier I ordered and I glued yellow jewels on it.
Darren refinished our old crib black and my mom helped me re-cover my old baby bumper and make a bed skirt.

Made a baby blanket using left over material from my girls rooms.

Made curtains from left over material I had.
